About The Black Liberation Pooled Fund
The Black Liberation Pooled Fund is housed and managed by Solidaire Network, Inc. It was established in the summer of 2020 in response to the swell of philanthropic interest to support the Black-led movement ecosystem. We operate in deep solidarity with grassroots organizers in Black communities, working to coordinate deeper and longer-term resource mobilization for a network of Black-led movement efforts.
In 2021, Solidaire selected 102 powerful partners as the inaugural cohort of Black Liberation Pooled Fund grantees and committed general operating support in the form of multi-year grants to these partners. We ask that you join us in raising an additional $21 million to reach our 5-year funding commitment to these current partners. More information on the analysis of the first year of this fund can be found in Solidaire’s 2021 Learning and Evaluation Analysis.
